Vodka Cruiser: Vibrant Brand Extensions
& High-Volume Asset Rollout

The Brief
Vodka Cruiser is a staple of the Australian ready-to-drink (RTD) market, known for its bold colors and flavor-driven identity. I collaborated with WhatCameNext_ to provide the technical finished art for various brand extensions, including the sophisticated Vodka Cruiser Cocktails range.
My role was to ensure that the playful, high-energy creative was translated into a technically sound and consistent national rollout.

The Challenge
The RTD category is incredibly competitive on-shelf. The technical challenge lies in the "appetite appeal"—ensuring the vibrant fruit colors and gradients are perfectly executed across diverse materials, from glass bottle labels and aluminum cans to cardboard cluster packs. I managed the complex file builds, ensuring that the brand’s signature luminosity remained consistent regardless of the printing substrate or format.

Technical Focus & Deliverables:

  • Gradient & Color Management: Meticulous handling of complex color profiles to ensure the "flavor cues" remained vibrant and enticing across all packaging formats.

  • Multi-SKU Coordination: Executing the finished art for a wide range of flavors, ensuring total brand alignment across a diverse and growing product family.

  • Packaging & Retail Execution: Technical setup for primary labels, cans, and secondary cartons, focusing on shelf-impact and brand recognition.

  • Agency Partnership: Working as a precision technical extension of the WhatCameNext_ team to deliver production-ready files for the Asahi Beverages portfolio.
