The Brief
Victoria Bitter (VB) stands as one of Australia's most enduring and iconic brands. Supporting the creative vision of WhatCameNext_, I was responsible for the technical finished art and production-ready rollout of the brand’s refreshed identity. My role was to ensure that while moving the brand forward, we remained absolutely respectful of its deep heritage and visual DNA.
The Challenge
The complexity of a brand like VB lies in its ubiquity. The artwork must be technically flawless across a vast spectrum of media. I managed the technical execution for everything from primary packaging (bottle labels and cans) to high-impact outdoor advertising (billboards and transit wraps). Each format requires a specific technical approach to ensure the "VB Green" and iconic typography remain consistent, whether viewed on a grocery shelf or a moving vehicle.
Technical Focus & Deliverables:
Scale-Agnostic Execution: Building master files that translate perfectly from small-scale beer tap badges to large-format 24-sheet billboards.
Packaging Production: Expert technical setup for primary labels and secondary cartons, including promotional Spotify integrations.
Transit & OOH Specialized Art: Managing the unique specifications for truck wraps and outdoor signage to ensure zero distortion and maximum brand impact.
Agency Integration: Working as a trusted technical extension of WhatCameNext_ to deliver pixel-perfect, production-ready assets for
national distribution.
